The Cathedral of Santa Marнa la Menor, dedicated to St. Mary of the Incarnation, is the America's oldest cathedral, begun in 1512 and completed in 1540. It is one of the most important buildings of the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo and it was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1990.

I like the wonderful frontage and the entrance cathedral.
You play nice with light and shadows too.
Your picture is real perfect, you create depth and perspective.

What a beautiful golden light on this cathedral. It adds a wonderful, golden glow to the walls and carved ornaments and it makes a beautiful contrast with the very blue sky. The composition is very good too.

The strong side light enhanced the view of the decorative carved element around and above the entrance to the cathedral, Alexandre.

Beautiful picture of this cathedral.

the perspective from which you have photographed the sunlit facade of the cathedral is intriguing, you have arranged the lines of the setting in an attractive way and have created much space in your frame for the gorgeous blue sky. Splendid presentation of Dominicana monuments. So there is also something to see besides the beaches. Maybe worth visiting. Beautiful entrance to this cathedral, fantastic warm light. Superb colours and composition.

Gran POV, que nos muestra con gran detalle, esta esplendida catedral de la epoca colonial, tiene una hermosa portada y es una elegante construccion.

tu foto me recuerda grandes momentos pasados aquн en la Catedral Primada de Amйrica y en toda la ciudad de Santo Domingo con unos buenos amigos dominicanos, que fueron unos guнas excelentes.
Me gusta el juego de la luz que baсa la preciosa arquitectura de la Catedral y las sombras que ocupan la parte baja de ella, creando un bonito contraste grбfico y cromбtico.
Los tonos dorados de la piedra contrastan poderosamente con el azul del cielo.
