Photographer's Note

The river Isle is located in South-West France. Some 255 kilometres long, it rises in the north-western Massif Central, near the town of Nexon south of Limoges. It flows south-west through the following dйpartements and towns:

Haute-Vienne: Le Chalard

Dordogne: Pйrigueux , Mussidan, Saint-Astier

Gironde: Libourne, where it flows into the Dordogne River

Hello Stephen,

A view full of sernetity, of peacefull. The FG and the large prospect open to the bridge and its arcades in the BG give a greta depht to the image. Beautiful reflections of the sky in the river too.

Very well composed to show us not only the tiny sand-bar with swans, but the bridge in the opposing corner. Good exposure against a bright sky. A delightful view of the river in natural colour.

Le niveau de l'eau semble bien bas, mais il porte le regard vers ce beau pont en arriиre plan. J'aime bien le cadrage vertical.

Hi Stephen,
The tiny island makes wonderful rest stop for the lazy swans as they soak up a bit of mid day sun.
Love reflections in the shallow river that creates nice depth as it moves through the distant bridge to the hills.

Mes amitiйs depuis la Slovaquie oщ la chaleur du climat continental se fait lourde йgalement ;o)
