Photographer's Note

Travel to the district of Paraipaba where the beautiful Lagoinha beach is situated! This area is one of the largest and most popular attractions because it used to be the ancient hiding place for French pirates. Now, Lagoinha is a quiet colony of fisherman, set amongst paradise landscapes dotted with palm trees, beaches and colorful sand dunes!

A scenic 65 mile (104km) drive from Fotaleza will take you to Lagoinha, a dreamy fantasy beach full of tropical vegetation. Lush with coconut palms and a small deep lagoon embedded in the red sand dunes, this beach is considered one of the best in the state.

Explore the palm tree lined beaches and red sand dunes on a buggy tour or horseback ride or simply relax in this unspoiled destination. You can even take a jangada (sailboat) ride on the calm waters of the Almecegas Lake. Make sure to enjoy the sumptuous seafood at the local restaurants before your return journey back to your Fortaleza hotel in the late afternoon.

A lovely composition well suited to the square format you have chosen. All the elements are nicely placed and the tropical tones look gorgeous. The people around the boat contribute much to the atmosphere as does the reflection in the wet sand. Very good clarity. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great shot of this beautiful beach. The boat is placed in a nice spot giving the photo a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has good sharpness. The reflection is nice and adds depth and balance for the shot.

Leonor...hey..first look..the composition is toooooo heavy on thr right...am sure quite a few would agree..

for balance there has to be something on the empty left or the close FG..

its too late to use the elements maybe..the boat and the reflection are all very pretty..

again the shoreline/treeline in the BG is running right around the centre line of the frame..that has made it that much harder to compose..

Overall a composition that has it all but the timing brother..i like it mind you !

Embora ainda nгo tenha "voltado de vez", vou aproveitar um tempinho livre para escrever qq. coisinha.
Mesmo nгo respeitando a "regra dos 2/3", pelomenos na vertical, acho-a muito bem composta. Ao contrбrio de muitos, acho que os formatos quadrados (ou quase), ficam muito bem em algumas situaзхes. Por outro lado, tambйm nгo vejo que seja importante respeitar sempre os formatos ditos "standart". Alйm da compo, a luminosidade e cores estгo estupendas, com o grande espelho natural em 1є plano a dar uma ajuda. O alaranjado da areia faz um belo contraste com os azuis do cйu e do mar.

Nice symmetrical reflections in the wet sand, with superb warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky & reddish toned sandhill. The repetition of the palm trees gives the top right part of the image, the look of a Saharan oasis. Tfs!

Ici aussi les couleurs sont un dйlice avec ce petit bout de terre aux teintes chaudes qui йquilibrent bien cette composition au niveau des couleurs.C'est trиs apaisant.

No te imaginas la alegrнa que me da verte de nuevo en TE, me pareciу que te habнas retirado para siempre y por eso inclusive te habнa quitado de mis favoritas, pero vi una foto y estabas en las criticas tu nombre, que bueno.
Esta es una magnifica foto captada con gran nitidez y muy buenos colores, el reflejo del velero esta estupendo, la playa es preciosa.
