Nonza Black Beach, a photo from Corse, South

Photographer's Note

In my recent trip to Corse, I expecially enjoyed the fantastic beach of Nonza, in the north-western side of the "finger" of Corse. Not much advertized by the usual brochures, never shown in the "best beaches" list, it is a great and wide black sand beach nested between high cliffs, with a fantastic blue sea, and with a lot of space for everybody.
And so different from all the other, still very beautiful, beaches of Corse.
Here is a close-up view from the small town of Nonza, a 100 meters above.
By the way, the view of the whole beach from the small town is a must. I will post it in the future.

I like this beach too especially as the pov allows for graphic shots thanks to the strong contrast between the black sand and white foam. You've played with the angles very well and the addition of the people and smiley face makes me smile too.

Trиs sympa la prise de vue !! Belle association de couleurs йgalement. Contraste rйussi.
Ta photo arrive а bien rendre la texture du sable.
De plus, en nous dйvoilant cette plage de sable noir, tu prйsentes une autre face de la Corse bien moins connue mais toute aussi belle.

Well, the color of the sand is not very attractive to me, but you've made it look so beautiful! This POV is perfect! Very well composed, everything is in the right place and that smiley is very nice detail :)

Looking this photo, I feel looking a shot of Yann Arthus-Bertrand: high point of view, good readibility, lonely people to share the scale and put life and a wink with the smiley on the corner.

a very nice shot from above, of this fascinating beach of Nonza.I like the almost diagonal placement of the shoreline as the people that look so tiny in the scene.Well done.

you already get a smiley in your picture! Good POV and framing, with the persons are as ants, but give the scale. Diagonal wave very dynamic

vedere uno spettacolo del genere dall'alto e' un'esperienza che non si dimentica facilmente - mi e' successo lo stesso in Portogallo, sull'oceano...
mi piace molto il modo in cui hai composto l'immagine, dove il mare lascia il posto an bagnasciuga e poi alla spiaggia, in un susseguirsi di diagonali... e alla fine, nell'angolo in basso a dx, c'e' uno smiley che aspetta lo sguardo guidato dalle onde =)
