Photographer's Note

This large new cathedral is in the city of Markham, just across the street from the northern border of Toronto. It was consecrated by the Coptic Pope Tawadros II in September 2014. Its design resembles the large Coptic cathedral in Egypt. This is the first Coptic cathedral in North America.

A beautiful building by any standard taken as usual with your very week considered view to give a great sense of size. What is really strong for me is how is presented against the stark contrasting colours of the snow and sky. Great subject and photo

It's a surprise to read about a Coptic cathedral in North America.
You present it taken from a good angle and in a splendid contrast with the blue winter sky.
