Photographer's Note

As the northern hemisphere was celebrating Easter this weekend, with the spring season kicking in, blooming flowers, warmer temperature and birds returning from their migration sites, here in South Africa, fall season is in full swing.

It's a strange feeling to realize that all the holidays I'm used to celebrate on the other side of the planet don't make sense here, like Christmas in summer, and while colza and tulips fields are becoming a popular photographic interest by this time of the year on TE, here the green vegetation is shifting to gold, ochre and rust colours, as we are slowly sliding towards winter.
