Photographer's Note
We are looking here from Ladies view towards Killarny national park with its lakes an the town of Killarney.
Ladies view is a beautiful vantage point on the ring of Kerry, not long after the Killarney national park on the N71. The name supposedly stems from Queen Victoria's ladies in waiting during their visit in 1861. Ladies view has a small car park and a café/souvenir shop.

Hello Daniel,
This is a fantastic landscape post executed with soft & cold tones of early spring. Like the vertical format of your work and superb composition. Well done. TFS.

Hello Daniel - I like the way this vertical composition with the blue lakes and spits of land that guide the eye through the landscape to the distant clouds. A shot full of depth and detail. Warm regards Rosemary
PS. We are planning a trip to Ireland in September, Any tips?

Hi Daniel,
Great shot from Ladies view.Great depth, colours and clarity. I have been here a couple of times before but never managed to get a good day. It was always raining and overcast.

Hello Daniel,
It seems as though Queen Victoria and her ladies named quite a few places with stunning views around Britain. Funnily enough, there's a place at Loch Tummel in Scotland called "Queen's View", apparently named after Queen Victoria, but one story states that when she travelled there it was so cold and dark that she didn't even get out of her carriage and didn't actually see the view at all!
Considering the weather we have been having, you were fortunate to find some lovely sunshine here. I love how the foreground and distant view are brightly lit but the mid-ground is shaded by cloud. Your composition is excellent, the colours, especially of the water, are vibrant and the details and sharpness are superb. And all beneath a beautiful and interesting sky.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Daniel,
I didn't know that the sun do shine in Ireland. I thought it is always cloudy there :) This is beautiful light, even with some of those clouds at the horizon threatening to come over soon. It must be nice to have some sun shine. The vertical format really gives lots of depth to this composition.

Hi dear Daniel
How unfair that this is just a view for the ladies :) and that you are breaking all the rules by showing it to us ;) It's superb, the depth is sensational and I love how you've used the vertical frame, an exquisite f/11 and a wide angle lens so perfectly together with the Rule of Thirds Framing. Superb shot, this landscape seems to go on forever. Hopefully it will (after having read Noel's upsetting note on the Irish forest problem.
Thanks for sharing, have a lovely evening

Hi Daniel,
I had a pleasure to visit this place so many times. It is very impressive but hard to present in its all glory as the lakes are bit far away. The weather is also often challenging. You did a great job here, the sky is very interesting and the lakes reflect blue sky which makes them more colorful.
Very well done!
