a shipwreck in Gulf of Elefsina,near Athens,
it is the "Mediterranean Sky"
Its last voyage was in August 1996 when sailed from Brindisi to Patras,
I also traveled many times with this ship...

Interesting to see that this boat has been wrecked almost 14 years, will it never be removed? But as long as it is here, it certainly provides a very special motive with good colours. A very fine photo altogether!

Seems like someone left a wreck behind..!
And I understand it is an old friend, must be a sad sight then...
I'm afraid there are many wrecks like this around the globe, so many they are an environmental problem and I think the insurance also should cover removal of the wreck!

wie bereits erwдhnt, dieses Drama in solch schцner Umgebung berьhrt! Ich hдtte schon sehr gemischte Gefьhle, wenn ich mit dieser Fдhre unterwegs gewesen wдre... Und man fragt sich natьrlich, weshalb das Wrack nicht geborgen wurde.
Die schцnen Farben (besonders das Blau) und das herrliche Licht machen diesen Eindruck trotzdem sehr attraktiv. Kompliment!

A shipwreck in a beautiful water & coast. I hope little environmental damage was done. Years ago I took a vessel from Brindisi to Patras with a few day stop in Corfu. I'm a seascape lover and I do like the whole scene here. I find the intense and fine colours typical of our Mediterranean and of course the shipwreck is a major focal point. The wonderful light makes the image very alive and incisive. A good work very pleasant to see.

na dann hast du ja Glьck gehabt, dass du nicht an Bord warst, als das Schiff gekentert ist. :-) Spass bei Seite, dramatisches fast unwirklich wirkendes Bild von diesem Schiffswrack. Vielleicht sollte jemand ein "Parken verboten" Schild anbringen, damit es nicht allzu lange dort liegen bleibt. ;-)

πολύ ωραία προοπτική, πολύ ενδιαφέρον ο τρόπος που το ναυάγιο περιβάλλεται από τις ακτές και τα πλοία, μια δεμένη και γοητευτική σύνθεση. Εκπληκτική η αντίθεση του θλιβερού ναυαγίου με τη γλυκύτητα και τη ζωντάνια του φωτός και των χρωμάτων. Θαυμάσιες επίσης οι υφές. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!
