Photographer's Note
The photo that seen was an Eruptions from Mount Sinabung during my trip to Brastagi. As usual we're enjoying the trip then suddenly there's an eruption from the mountain. To make it looks more dramatically...I'm using the HDRi technique.

Hi Xiao
Wow and wow. What a dramatic image, the HR has worked beautifully to capture this scene, and the level of detail you caught in the plume of smoke and ash is really superb. This looks like the end of the world, and having never been witness to a volcanic eruption, I would guess is as close as we can imagine. I love how you have composed the scene too, the bright colors of the buildings and the man made lines of the power lines in the lower half are in stark contrast to the feeling of sheer power in the eruption.
The way the light plays on the plume is amazing too, this is an incredible shot!! Really excellent photo, thanks for sharing.
Best wishes

Amazing and beautiful image. I hope that it is not a new Krakatoa.

Almost perfect shot, although the green of the building is a bit too garish in my opinion.

Love this documentary shot but would personally have split the scene and toned down the buildings and foreground - maybe even gone B+W. I think the HDR works for the plume but not the rest.
