Blaubeuren-Blue lake

Blaubeuren is a town in the district of Alb-Donau near Ulm in Baden-Wьrttemberg, Germany.

It has 11,963 inhabitants as of December 2007.

The Blue Pond holds a secret. Her name is Lau and she is the beautiful water nymph who lives at the bottom of the pool. The story is a fascinating one and if you believe try and find her face in the pool as you look into it's depths. The blue is constantly changing from light blue to a very dark blue as the light moves across its waters. It is a small and magical place and it should not be missed if you are in the area

I've made a day trip to Blaubeuren to see the beautiful old city,the mill with the Kloster of Blaubeuren.
The lake is very pretty, especially during the noon time, when the water reflects the sunshine and its amazing turquoise color.
You can walk around the small lake, and its takes only a few minutes.In front of the mill is a sweet cafe.
Unfortunately the cave under the Blautopf is only permitted to enter for scientific personnel only.

Found a nice "opening" in the grove, to take the marvelous edifice and tower, with a reflection over water, Danos.
Excelent combinatin of colors, gree and blue & grey(water and sky), pink roof-top and other tones, dark and bright.

πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα σύνθεση με την εκκλησία να προβάλλει από ένα στενό άνοιγμα στο κέντρο του κάδρου, ανάμεσα σε πυκνή βλάστηση. Η σύνθεση αυτή ενισχύει το μυστήριο και τον ρομαντισμό της ατμόσφαιρας και δημιουργεί έναν ελκυστικό δυναμισμό. Πολύ ωραίες οι υφές και τα χρώματα, συνδύασες την αντανάκλαση με την ιδιαιτερότητα της λίμνης εξαιρετικά. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!

You found a very good spot for this picture, the church is perfectly framed by the thick vegetation here. The spire is beautifully reflected in the mirror-like water and the red roof is providing a good colour against the dark green trees. A very pleasant view.

A tranquil $ picturesque sight in almost diffuse ligthing condition with natural framing directing focus of attention to the imposing church. A pity of the white sky, in future your high light a little bit make a less, you shall see that your sky becomes blue.

Through the branches of the trees you spotted the beautiful reflected image of the church tower in the lake.
The composition and framing are very good and the colours in the water real pretty. Too bad the sky is quite dull but of course you couldn't help that.
