Photographer's Note
"El pez grande siempre se come al pequeño" means that the big fish always eats the small one. Well, maybe also I should explain that.
However, what is important is the next one: Greece is not in its best moment. The politics and economy are in a poor moment and ever ever ever is the same people who paid the "sins" of the pezzonovante or big shot.
In Spanish languahe, here, you will and interesting article about that. There you will find another articles and also links in another languages.
Regards for all our Greek friends.

Hola Carlos

Saludos Coco.

Olá Carlos, superb graphic composition with the fishes. Wonderful effect of repetition, the one out of place breaking the pattern and order. Reminds me a pic of Korkut...Love it.

Hola Carlos!

Hola Carlos,
my grandmother told me "eat, you do not know who will eat you!"
beautiful illustration of the common preoccupations of the general economic crisis,
These sardines, such arranged, appear to suffer and be hungry, mouths open, and some bloody eyes, raised toward heaven, (this reminds me the painting of Gernica), realistic colors,
fantastic idea,
all the best,

Ola Carlos,
really the big fish eats the small one! and the golden boys did a savage attack on Greek economy. But as i have read in the newspapers their interest is turn to Spain and Portugal.Never mind we will be survive instant of this extended seasonal slump. They drive us into a corner,as the fishes in the wooden lug box,as your shot show.
Have a nice day,Danos

aw Carlos! this is excellent!! The good focus and the soft bokeh. It's death, but it's beautiful.
I love everything about it...not gonna say much more, except that since you left a bit of the wooden box at the top, I would like to see juuuuust a bit more.
I like your note too...very good link!

Good evening
Greece knows a real economic collapse. Obviously European aid is not forthcoming. France has also entered the storm.
Your shot reminds me a box of sardines. In Corsica, we have an expression for the time when the Genoese occupied us "Baccala per Corsica. All agricultural products were exported to Genoa, and that they referred us barrels of dried cod "cod for Corsica"
Historically, the big ate the small ...... they remain to sharpen our teeth to turn around and bite them.
Good job
