Photographer's Note
We are once again in Alacati, the plesant and cozy village near Cesme. The place becomes very animated after sunset, and the atmosphere of this little town is really unbelievable.
This young long haired painter was making the portrait of this photogenic lady . I was amazed to find out how natural the scene looked, and the place with an atmospheric light was somehow reminding a theater set. I decided to use my tripod, for more sharpness under low light, althought the ISO was set at 640. I also used a fill-in flash for more details in the dark areas.

Hi Izzet.
Excellent scene, very well captured. It feels warm and touristy without being tacky. However, I feel that it might have been better to get closer and omit the girl in the white dress as the 'story' (for me) is the dynamic between the painter and his model.
However, that's being picky. This is a lovely photo and thanks for sharing.
Paul.

Merhaba Izzet Bey,

Mrhaba Izzet,
Alacati'yi ilk Mine Kasabogulu'nun fotograflarinda görmüstüm. You've captured the scene in the manner of a stage setting. The high ISO setting and slow shutter speed (and happily the slow motion of the subjects) has produced the effect of a well lit stage, with mannequins and props instead of actual people. I love this photograph.
Warm regards, Izzet, We cherish the book that you gave us!

Izzet you have a real talent for capturing people in their natural element. The lady in white watching the drawing unfold is really engaged in the process and is enjoying herself. Excellent work Izzet!

Izzet,
whenever I see your street shots with daily life moments captured in the turkish cities it gives me the feeling that I was at your side and observing your work as I did during our few hours that we spend together in Istanbul. I literally can see, smell and feel the scene that you got here. It really is like being there ...
