Photographer's Note
I can't avoid it any longer. Here is my effort at the Taj Mahal....certainly one of the most photographed temples in the world. But here it is. The central pool had no water in it that day, just our luck. So here is somewhat of a reflection from a side pool.
Taken handheld, as tripods are not allowed there for some reason. Certainly its an effort to try to get a clear shot without a crowd, as even first thing in the morning, it fills up quickly. Still, it remains for me, one of the most inspiring places I have ever visited!

Hello Steve!
Classical but truly well taken with your unique and special "flavor"!
Sharpness is excellent, exposure is correct, colors are very attractive, the viewpoint was very well chosen and the composition well thought and done!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,

Even without the central pool it's still impressive and fascinating. Yes it may be classical but each masterpiece is interpreted in a different way. And I like the way of your interpretation of this beauty. Regards, Tolga

excellent processing on the colors, a classic for sure, but it's impossible to visit this site and not being tempted to share at least one photo of this wonder

Hi,
One of the most photographed but certainly a different view. Thanks to empty main tank ;)...I would have liked with sides cropped more...but still different view and well composed shot.
--------------------------------------------
Steve & Sacimar Taj Mahal is not a temple but a "mausoleum". Temple would essentially be a place to worship God in some of his form.
Taj a "mausoleum" build by an emperor "Shahjahan" for her beloved wife "Mumtaz Mahal" after her death. As said my Bona, it is considered to be a monument that symbolizes love.

Nice light.
The sides should get cropped, that thing at left is disturbing, and you should have faced the building directly, standing right in the axis - in case you want to show all four minarets. The reflection is a bit murky - I would not have needed it here.
