Photographer's Note
This beautiful creature I found in a cage in a rehabilitation centre for wild animals in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. He was one of many victims from the conflicts between wildlife and farmers that set up traps to kill or keep wild animals like this leopard away from their land and cattle. A lot of animals get seriously injured, then found and brought here.
Sadly, this leopard will never be let out in the wild again, in contrast to most of the recovering animals taken to the centre, since they are kept away from human display.

Hi Sara,
welcome to TE.
what a stunning first posting. well framed and good composition. good use of the shaded areas within the frame, and the contrast of bright light just shows off the animals coat to the fullest.
well done, i will kepping an eye out for future postings, chris
