Hello Yiannis. Old man in Marrakech. When it gets dark, the busy life begins on the Jamaa El Fna square. The posture of the old man shows his high Age. I like the inclusion of the background in the overall composition. Ge3macht well.

Hi Yiannis,

My first look through your portfolio and there are some crakers here. I am a sucker for B&W and for portrait shots, so this was the first one to really catch my eye. Spectacular management of the light, and I love the effect you have gained from the older man being in crystal clear focus, whereas the younger lads in the background are blurred a little. The speed of youth vs the constancy of old age?

You use black and white for these very old man between the young people.

Hello Yiannis,

The light management is so perfect. The main subject, a gentleman who occupies the centre of the image is almost coming foreword. With the beautifully managed grey tones and the creatively framed scene, the quality of this image, in my most humble opinion, is first rate. The distant view embraces the main subject with a realistic yet magical touch. I love all the activities, which surrounds this gentleman. The lively activity of the square is captured with audible sound coming from the space presented in the photo. The captured image also contains a variety of speed, which seems to exist with differentiated time. So much is happening in this photo, yet the busyness of the image does not interfere with the quality of the overall ambience set foreword. I love the photo very much.

Very original idea combined with your technical

This is a good photograph in which the smell of a life is felt, so it's interesting and impressive to see the contrast of the old man and young man who are present in square. It's interesting in food stands of both side. Well composed and good B/W quality.
