Photographer's Note
One of the many sights you can see in Djemaa el-Fna. I have likened the square to the circus. You can hear it from 500 yards away, you walk through and get snakes thrown over your shoulders, monkeys on your head, and personal performances at every step and turn...all for a price of course. This is one of the many snake charmers throughout the square. They sit there and play with cobras, rattlesnakes and various other types of evil looking snakes. The square has to be one of the best people watching places in the world. Here is one of them...

This is a good straight on shot. I'm guessing they must have gotten you for the, uh, pre-paid plan for him to be so gracious about the shot. You got a good, engaged expression out of him and he's framed up/arms continued by the line of each snake. That's a shot I haven't seen a duplicate of.

Hi John,
A nice tight comspoition with the man and his two snakes. There are some great details like the colourful image on the carpet and the patterns on the mans hat. Also your sharpness is good so that we can see the scales of the snake. A wonderful portait.

John
Belle composition pour cette jolie photo prise au moment adéquat. J'aime beaucoup l'expression sur le visage de l'homme qui arrive à capter l'attention des deux serpants.

Hello John,
You have an astonishingly exotic collection of images, and this certainly is in that class. I understand that these creatures do not hear sounds, is it the swaying motion of the handler that keeps the snakes mesmerized? Excellent shot!
Warm regards,
Bulent
