I climbed up the dunes. I was above the Wadi, alone.

I was drunk with freedom, with silence, with wind...

I was drunk with the simple pleasure of running down in this golden flour...

excellent ... very impressive results
I like the tight crop of this photo and ofcourse the simplicity and serenity of this photo broken by the foot marks on the sand.
I also like the fact that there are pretty much only two colours in this photo ... the colour of sand and the blue of sky

Happy drunk for joy then ... What I like in this photo is to see the marks of the footsteps which come and go on the hills interfere with the ribbons of the sand being effects of the wind. Nice compo and pov, TFS.

What an amazing shot...On first blush this appears as a close-up of the human body. The contours are extraordinary, the clarity of detail such that every little ripple in the sand is discernible. The track in the sand is perfectly situated in the scene. Straight to my favourites. Freedom at the edge of the world...

That sure looks like a superhuman trail or one left behind by a one legged monster! The textures of the sand are well captured. They appear almost realistic. The colours and lights are lovely. Overall the composition and the colours are superb.

the texture of the sand with the soft curves of the dunes would be great. The addition by the foodprints is marvelous. Together with the beautiful colors and the clear sharpness: I like it a lot.

It's incredible that only one person has recently passed by. The trail in the sand allows our eye to wander right through the image and we make up the trail in our mind on the parts out of sight. The light is wonderful creating a sheen and showing up the texture of the sand. Minimal but very beautiful.

J'ai suivi les traces de pas en cherchant qui les avait faites, mais pas de Vendredi au bout : j'avais fait le tour complet de l'ile... Ces vues de dunes sont trйs impressionnantes, il y a une texture trйs douce et comme veloutйe (je n'irai pas plus loin dans les comparaisons).

Une trиs belle luminositй dans cette image et les formes arrondies de ces dunes sont trиs agrйables а l'oeil. Cette petite envolйe de sable sur les hauteurs et ces traces de pas dйambulant les dunes est du plus bel effet. Une composition simple qui accroche. Belle rйalisation Stйphane.

Salut Stйph,

encore une de tes dunes... diffйrente celle-ci. La couleur plus claire est intйressante. La faзon dont tu as cadrй ici donne encore plus une dimension d'infini.

Les traces de pas qui continuent, disparaissent donnent une continuitй а la compo et une nouvelle structure а ces belles dunes.

J'aime aussi particuliиrement le petit coin de vent en haut, а gauche ! :-))

Comme tu le dis si bien dans ta note, le silence, la paix sont bien ressentis ici !
Je me demande ce que donnerait la vision de ta photo avec "Enjoy the silence" de Depeche Mode... faudra que j'essaie ;)

Wow this is breathless, my boggest dream is visit all the mediterrnean area, since Portugal until Morroc passing by Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Malta, Tunizia, all the mediterranea, and when I see this I dream with your nice adventures and I like your poems.

Plus this picture is wonderul the prints, the lonelyness, the sand, the wind the sun, all togueter makes an amazing picture.
