Great holmertz 2014-10-31 10:08

Hello Bev,
This is a fine photo of what looks like a cosy town. The colours and reflections are superb, and there is generally a good atmosphere among the houses and boats.
It was brought to my attention that this photo had lost some sharpness when it was enlarged by the TE server. I see the difference with the beta version, otherwise I would not have tought much about it. I fear the only way to avoid having photos stolen from the internet is to never upload any anywhere. Making them very small, or adding a copyright stamp all over the picture, like some people do, spoils most of the fun watching them. I have found a number of my pictures on other sites, but as long as they are not obviously commercial I don't really care. In most cases at least they have given me credit for the shots.
Kind regards,

Thank you for your critique, Gert.
I would be less concerned about copyright piracy if I was acknowledged for my photographs. In the cases I am referring to, my photographs were used without my knowledge an d without any acknowledgement.

Everyone knows that photographs belong to someone!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
