Hi Manoj,
How are you? I hope that you are well!
This picture reminds me that I really must do some travelling to the Scottish islands. I am sure that photographic opportunities there must be wonderful.
Your exif data suggest that this picture was taken early in the morning and with a long exposure, presumably using a tripod. The light is just delicious and the soft colours in the sky are delightful. The picture is almost monochrome but with some very lovely and subtle colours coming through in the gorgeous sky, the reflections on the calm water and the little pebbles on the beach.
A beautifully composed and restful photograph with lovely muted colours, perfect light and exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. I see that you've acquired the Tamron 17 - 50mm f/2.8 - it's a cracking lens, isn't it? Super sharp and f/2.8 throughout the whole range.

Hello John,
I am great, thanks. I have been busy of late, and photo expeditions are becoming fewer and fewer. Managed to slip away for a day to Bute, and it was well worth the visit. A drive round the isle will give you with many opportunities, I did this one afternoon and again the next morning. There were beautiful pebbles on Ettrick bay and rocks to make up your foreground. I have had the Tamron for a few years now, and find it very good. I am looking for a small point and shoot now though, just a bit lazy carrying the heavy stuff! How are you? Manoj |
