Hi Harjit. I am enjoying all of the photographs of the autumn colours that our US and Canadian TEers are posting at the moment. This one is particularly striking because of the contrast with the clear blue sky. However, I am puzzled as to why you used a 1/60th shutter speed in such bright light - that may have contributed to the lack of sharpness. You don't need to worry much about DOF at this distance, so a faster shutter speed and wider aperture would have given you a much crisper and sharper photograph. Cheers . . . David

Thx for the awesome critique. Your comments make a lot of sense and has made me wonder about my techniques. I'm going to try your suggestion. I used the apperture mode on my camera when I took this picture, which resulted in it adjusting my shutter speed. Appreciate it. You have been very helpful. |
