C17... gosh it's rare for me to see this plane.
I'm going to be short in this critique as I am going to bed soon.
Quality is far from the best and that is really the reason for me not giving max points.
I simply love the sight of this marvel of engineering, isn't "Globemaster" the name it got?
If I'm not mistaking this plane is able to utilize just simple dirt airstrips for it's deliveries.

The quality is lost in this picture due to the rain. It rained almost non-stop throughout the airshow, which was a major disappointment. I couldn't get a good focus due to the damn rain.
I think you're right, this plane can land on dirt airstrips. It is a beautiful aircraft. Appreciate your comments. Take it easy. |

Ok, maybe "beautiful" isn't the proper word, but I still fell it deserves respect.
In most cases when it comes to doing landings and touch-and-go on a dirt airstrip the operation is limited to the older propeller driven C-130 Hercules. I think it deserves the respect that many people have for it. Odd Jarle |
