Hello Keith,
There is no doubt that the details of the abbey are very crisp in your photograph and the upwards viewpoint certainly makes us feel we are ascending to Heaven.
However, I always hate to see such lens distortion on photographs so I wondered how you would feel about the 'Steps to Heaven', and their surroundings, being more more direct.
I have done a little workshop.

It's a pity that you didn't make the journey, especially in the early part of the day, for the weather was warm and sunny. Remember, you must book before you arrive. I think it is to restrict numbers or maybe for catering, too. Have a good day, Bev :-)
