Default Mac Users- please help

Does anyone happen to have some software (preferably free, but will consider all) which can help me in freeing up some much need space/ memory on my MacBook (Leopard) hard drive?

Hi Dan!

I'm sorry but MacBook aren't workstations...
Really fine to read/reply to e-mails and surf the web when we are away from office but shows is limit when we try to work with ( same with MacBook Air).

If you really need to work on a Mac when you're travelling upgrade at least for a MacBook Pro 15 inch at 2,5Ghz with his 512 dedicated video memory (CS3 runs very slowly on this machine and we are on the way for the CS4...).

else if you don't travel enjoy iMac! a nice station for the same price of a working laptop running on Windows V$*#&

don't forget: upgrading harware with software is the easyway to corrupt files...

that's my two cents

Hi Dan,
I am using 2 programs for my MacBook that helps me to control space on the HD. First is *JDiskReport* which shows You where and how much space is occupied(free);the second one is *OnyX* which actually cleans your HD in the areas You specify (free). I am very happy with both, keeps me in control.
Hopefully,it is what You are looking for.

I would like to renew the question that was made by the topic starter. What is the preferable software solution today?

I use Omnidisksweeper (free) on my Macbook Pro.
I also use Gemini from MacPaw (about $30) which works great for finding all my duplicate files scattered all over the hard-drive. CleanMyMac also by MacPaw is good but more money. Use the trial offers - then when you go into purchase - when you go to leave the page, a pop-up comes up offering 50% off.

User groups offer exceptional benefits to members. As a Mac user, you can experience a feeling of connectedness by finding other Mac users in your community.Generally custom essay writing service is good for the students because this service is providing the new essay writing methods and ideas.
