I think one thing that makes tree photos like this come alive is the compression factor from using a long lens and a tripod. Also if ISO is turned up f11 to f 16 can be used to ensure most of the trees are in focus. Best suggestion is to take 100 plus shots with different settings and see for yourself. As usual its seeing it first and then working to make it become a reality. Have a good day.
