Hi Paul.
A stunner, this one, with those apparent tree sculptures towering over the viewer, and the tilt making a superb diagonal across the blue of the sky. It had to be a square frame! You exposed this very well indeed, revealing the full detail of the snow. A really superb exercise in displaying light and shadow.

The square frame idea was a last minute idea just before cropping. It seemed to be a good idea to bring balance between snow and sky. Thanks for your kind comments and all the best in two thousand eleven as well.
