Map is a broken image.

Hi,

For some reason the 'map' on my Overview page seems to just show as a broken link, rather than a map of where my images were taken.

Hi,

Hmmm, its 1/2 working

The map shows now, but it does 'mark' any of the countries (Bolivia & Argentina) where my photos are from.

Also, my overview page (http://www.trekearth.com/members/FireFluxStudios/)
seems to have some other problems.

1) The number of 'points' under my profile picture says 4, but if you add up the points from both my photos, the total is 16 (6+10). Is it supposed to show the total, or is that something else?

2) On the right under 'Snapshot', it shows 'photos' as '1'. but I have 2 photos, and if you click it it shows 2. So shouldnt that be 2?

3) The 'Random photos' sections seems to always be blank for my user, shouldnt it be displaying some of my photos?

Hi,

Strange, it seems to have partly 'fixed' itself now.

But, it is as of before I just posted another photo.

Does that mean it only updates those things once a day or something?

As it now doesnt include my latest photo, or some points.

Also, your map doesnt have Antarctica on it!

Rob, I got some clarification from our Tech team. I hope this helps.

1 - The points are calculated on a daily basis [or perhaps hourly] .
2 - The snapshots are also updated on a daily basis [or perhaps hourly]
3 - Also I believe that the random photos are generated using a cron [we do not know how frequent].

The problem with Trekearth is that we have tons of data in the database, so updating a user's profile data is a slow process.

Me again...

Since I'm new, I'm digging around...

Is the 'beta' site supposed to be used (ie http://beta.trekearth.com/members/FireFluxStudios/)?

If so, my map isnt working on that site also.

It displays the map, just it doesnt highlight the places my photos were from, like the problem with www.trekearth.com before.

Does that need to be fixed separately for my account, or is that just a test site?
