The zig-zagging shape of the ray of light cutting across the image-plane put the foundation in place for a good photograph.
Then there is the range of textures, very coarse stonework in the wall against the smooth pavement and the the even smoother bodywork of the little scooter-van.
And there is something huge and solid (the wall) and something fragile (the van).
The brownish-black colours and the simple clear composition holds the image together so we can enjoy the subtle play of contrast and likeness, it's a nice photo, I like it except for the one-third of a man that doesn't really do anything good here.
