Silver Efex
Hi Philippe, good to hear from you.
Yes, Silver Efex is a plug-in, and I use it with PS Elements. I've never used LR so I don't know how it compares with that, but I think it's a great bit of...

No, I didn't use any noise reduction - Provia is a very fine grained film anyway, but maybe my cheapo scanner is responsible for the...

Re: To rigoletto: ISO 25600
ISO 25600 is 4 stops faster than 1600, so if you had to use 1/10th sec in your cave, you could have used 1/250th sec in the same light using ISO 25600.
The place I took the photo was sort of like...

To rigoletto: ISO 25600
ISO 25600 - the highest ISO setting on my camera. Even then I was using quite a low shutter speed, as you can see from the slight camera shake / movement in the photo.
Glad you liked it Deniz.

Re: olympus 9-18 mm lens
Oh dear, there seems to be some confusion in the replies here!
Just to clarify - Olympus doesn't make a full-frame DSLR.
The 4/3 crop factor is 2x, so the 9-18mm zoom will be equivalent in angle...

I'm not sure I understand your confusion about the F80 Dennis! It's a great little camera, and when it finally died I replaced it with an even more plasticy and lightweight F75.
I use cameras like...

Hi John,
Actually if you look closely you'll see that it's GREEN, yellow and red - the colours of the Ethiopian flag.
I'm glad you liked the shot, thanks for your comments.

No Jerzy, you're thinking of the 17-55mm. The 17-35mm is an older lens and works great on film and FX digital cameras.
