I have been to Laos, but only at Vientiane for 48 hours. I wish I will have a chance to come to Louangprabang on next trip.

If I am able to make the dreamed trip, I am sure I will bring along this photo of yours, as a guide on how to find the country's beauty -- even though I am sure I would not be able to be as successful and professional as you.

The area is raining today, but I am watching for a better weekend to enjoy being close to some TX wildflowers this season.

During the Vietnam War, I had several times to be at a pleasant angle similar to this, to watch the military convoys.
Your photo reminds me some deep souvenir of my youth. Thanks for sharing.

Truly enjoy seeing Vietnam again. I've posted many pictures on TE and TL from Vietnam. Your pictures make me thing of going back. Vietnam grabs you, doesn't it? This picture is either process to sharp or JPG resolution sharpness is off. Edges are rough, but hey, I've been there with PS. TFS

Excellent editing with contrast between umbrella and colors of Bac Ha. I was here in 2006 and it was the highlight of my trip. Well Done

Just returned from Morocco, Fes, Marrakesh, Casa, Essaouira and more. This was very common on my trip. I photographed usually 400 to 500 pictures a day for over 2 weeks. I found out by asking first (not always possible) or just pointing to my camera when I caught their eye, I got a yes or no. Most wanted a few dirhams (.25 to .50cent) Children and woman is was common to ask. It does put you on the defense, but it's part of life.

I'm happy you left the fence in picture. I've driven Hiw #1 several times and it's never disappointing. I believe there is a 50 mile stretch of just beautiful scenery. Road is in good condition, but keep your eyes on the winding road, use pull out to view the coast. It can be a long ride for many.

Your comments on my photography, brought me here and I'm glad. Your photography is outstanding. The Dead End or End of the Rails is what caught my eyes. Rust, age, rotted pieces of track extending to the shallow waters. Very poetic I may say. Thanks for the kind words on my photos...I now know more about your vision and eyes how they catch the world.
