This is a surprising jump back one year to your visit to Luxembourg. But roses look beautiful wherever they are grown. You composed this well with a large pink rose in the foreground where it catches my full attention.

I have seen a number of English pubs but this looks very different. Maybe those I frequented in the 1960's were already too trendy or posh. This looks more like somebody's very large sitting-room. The WS are interesting complements.

It's a beautiful room with a very elegantly built ceiling. It looks now more like an art gallery than a part of a monastery. The plants in the pots create a nice atmosphere. There was a good light that you handled well.

What a perfect opportunity for colourful photos full of action. I just wonder if the swords could actually cause injuries if not handled properly. I suppose amherst.edu didn't mention that in the chivalric medieval Europe people usually suffered from terrible toothache until they died at an age of 35. ;-)

Sе vдrst litet var ju inte det hдr torget, som jag ocksе tyckte mycket om. Jag hade turen att liksom du ha vackert fotovдder i Sibiu. Detta дr en detaljrik bild med bra ljus och fina kontraster och de typiska takfцnstren. Jag undrar om Securitate цvervakade befolkningen frеn de vindskamrarna under Ceausescutiden.

The coin is a good indicator of scale, so I guess you deliberately put it there yourself. The book press is quite beautiful with its rusty, or rust coloured, surface. It was an interesting object to stumble upon (not to be taken literally).

This is a beautiful composition with a slightly sad atmosphere. Maybe the tree is longing for a companion. But the tree on its own is like a work of art and you enhanced this with the well captured colours and light.

It's a pity that these buildings look so abandoned and neglected, especially those on the right side. They could have looked very nice, but they still provided you with a good photo opportunity. They created superb depth towards the view of the better and brighter buildings in the distance.

They look very cute and cuddly, but cute animal babies usually have their mothers nearby, and wild mothers tend to be dangerously protective. Maybe you were lucky to escape this nice photo opportunity unharmed.

I wouldn't have thought much about the bend unless you had described its odd background. It actually creates a more dynamic picture, which is also enlivened by the many cars revealing human activities. It's nice once in a while to see a place that doesn't seem like time stopped in the 1960s.

This is a fascinating building. It's so empty and neglected, but the rows of plain columns create a magnificent view towards the apse, where the light is streaming through a window and we see the remains of frescos.

Yes, both WS could have done well as main posts, but the one you chose is the most original composition. There are some interesting distortions of the mirrored figures and I also like the window frames and the diagonal shadows.

This is a good composition and it looks sooo very English. A Romanesque church with a beautiful tower, old gravestones traditionally leaning a bit here and there, and grass growing high. You placed the tower well and the light is good and well exposed in spite of the dark clouds.
