Hey Dan,
That's insane getting up at 1 AM! But the results were worth everything you went through. The low-lying fog and clouds give your shot some cool atmosphere. The foreground and volcano are perfectly placed and of course the colors are spectacular. Awesome shot Dan!

Hi JP. I have that same lens as you and I have never seen such good bokeh before out of it as what you have here. I like the way you’ve cropped and framed this guy just enough off-center. Nicely done JP!

Hi Paul. It's a good thing you had your camera nearby. The graphism and repetition of the piers supporting the bridge is quite good. And the way the mist gobbles up the bridge in the distance adds some drama and mystery. I wish I had this kind of view where I worked! Good one Paul.

Hi Gerald. Wow that's most impressive! Of course the reflections are tops in this one. Also your exposure is well balanced. Nice use of the rocks in the foreground. I might have played around with a lower shooting angle to better use the rocks in the foreground. Beautifully done Gerald!

Hi Barbara. You know a few years ago I wasn't too far away from this place as I did see Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction. Colorado is such a funny state to drive across because it changes so much as shown here. I like the effect you got with the polarizer. Beautiful shot Barbara!

Hi Pat. What a catch Pat! The lighting is hard to get much better than that and I love the man in the lower left and the way the backlight is doing some good things there. I might like to see more of the top and left edges of the trees though. tfs Pat!

Hi Aloysius. The mist gives you an otherworld feel. Actually it gives it a painterly quality too. With the saturation shot you might want to consider b/w. tfs Aloysius.

Hi Lili. You sure have some great textures here. With the sky not being that great you were wise to try and keep most of the composition on the building and street. I might have waited a second or two more for the people to move foreword a bit. Great shot Lili!

Hi Vera. You know a lot of people would have made the biker in focus but I like that you see other ways of doing your focus. Having the biker in blur sure is a great way of showing the motion and dynamics. Well seen Vera!

Hi Chris. I never would have imagined a turquoise lake so beautiful could exist there. That looks like something straight out of the Canadian Rockies. I love the depth provided by the shoreline. Beautiful shot Chris!

Hi Cessy. The shutter speed you went with gave you just enough blur and it added some motion and dynamics without taking the effect too far. We can still make out everything just fine. Nice wintertime catch Cessy!

Hi John. You of course have some excellent depth in this one not to mention a strong leading line. The people of course add some scale but they also bring it to life not to mention some added movement. The architecture is great. Fantastic shot John!

Hi Mishe. Very nice detail work you have done here. You have good mix of trees at peak and others that are close. That looks tough to compress under the 200kb limit but the image quality seems unaffected. tfs Mishe.
