The church is simple but very nice and the somewhat unusual tower is my favourite part. The warm light under the dark sky makes the photo very beautiful. It's also very sharp and well composed.

This is a fantastic scenery, partly for the steep mountainsides but even more for the abundance of yellow flowers. They create a stunning view which is enhanced by the good exposure. The narrow road going down the hill is a good focal point creating nice depth.

I would probably not like to have this painting hanging on my own wall, but I would watch it with keen interest in a museum. I wonder which "ism" it belongs to. ;-)
The WS provide perfect comPlements and prove that the note is true. I have never seen trees like those and didn't know they existed.

Your notes are often quite funny. What's the worst: getting lost in a big city or soaking wet in the wilderness? ;-)
Regardless of the troubles you had here this is a good photo. The young woman makes a great addition to the composition of red rocks and a green scenery with curious hills. The dark sky as such is a good complement to the other areas and creates some excitement.

These modernist villas are quite interesting, and very different from the colourful beach huts we have seen in some other countries. Personally I would prefer to stay a bit further away from the water, but the combination of buildings, sand and playing children makes the photo a lot more attractive.

The colors are strong and vivid and the small mosque looks charming. The lady in pink standing in the shade adds a good focal point on a level with the minarets and flowers. Both WS are good complements.

A good composition with fine colours and many details to watch. It is a pleasantly shady place for hot days and a nice place for a friendly talk along with a cup of coffee. Another time maybe with a beer or a glass of wine.

This castle looks a bit unusual. The plain walls and the location next to a modern street makes me think of a prison in an American film. But you had a very good light and the exposure is perfect. The light clouds are also very nice.

The main photo has a nice view, probably taken when you were approaching the island. But I find both WS photos more interesting because they show us the fish market with the fresh fish for sale and people coming to buy them. There are more details to focus on and there is something happening in both photos. Technically they are all good.

The tree photos are all interesting and carefully taken. The sky is even darker and more threatening in the WS but I prefer this for the wider view including the brick building. The two buildings balance each other well and the brown against black looks good. The interior looks like it could become a very cosy restaurant. But what happened to all the treasures found during reconstruction? Were the skeletons reburied somewhere and the treasures handed over to the town museum?

The model is very interesting and the result of great efforts and skill of those building it. It is placed in a room with good light and plenty of space to take photos from different angles. Is it known from saved documents exactly what The Mayflower looked like, or is this model based on reasonable estimates and general knowledge of the ships of those days?

You are always quick to catch up with photo trends on TE. ;-) These are two nice pictures, and especially the main one is very interesting with the two caterpillars living peacefully on the same twig. (It's not some strange reflection I don't understand, is it?) And you had plenty of time and light for very sharp photos.

This is a well composed photo where the elegant boats along the quay make the greatest impression. The green hills are also very nice and I'm sure there are good views from those buildings. In the foreground the two restaurants, and maybe others further away, will be cosy places for a meal in the evenings. The diagonal created by the quay gives the photo a fine structure.

It's the well known highway that enables the destruction of the rain forest which serves as one of the "lungs" for the entire world...
But it looks good in the photo, and not just the table mountain is interesting but also the strange peaks to the right. And you can trust me to always check the large format.

The beach doesn't look too terribly crowded, but maybe there are more people behind those tall buildings. The two flags are good eye-catchers and the wooden platform fills the foreground nicely, along with the bushes. It's a well exposed photo in the bright light.
