Great shot, Animesh. I like their enthusiastic, self-conscious and slightly goofy expressions. Lots of detail and pattern here. While B & W adds drama to a photo, I would have liked to see this one in colour as well. Regards, Ryno

Great perspective and deep blue colour. It makes one want to go diving right away. Love the feeling of motion in this image. Pity the crop is so tight, but understandable under the circumstances. Perhaps you were very close to them.

Hi Ana, your interesting note supplements the photo very well. It's always sad to see old cultural customs falling by the wayside. The custom of bringing food to the workers in the fields is of course to be found in other parts of the world, but it's the first time I've seen these terracotta pots and the method of keeping them heated. Your photo is well composed and gives the viewer a good sense of what is going on.

Great light and pastel colours, Daniel. Your vertical composition works very well down this narrow alley. This type of shot is always hard to execute, because of the shadows and the difficulty in capturing the atmosphere of a place, but I think you pulled it off to a large degree here.

Wow, lovely shot, Recep. I especially like the contrast between the two doves, and the blur of movement of the one on the left. B&W also makes the texture of the wall stand out more, which contributes to this very atmospheric and evocative photo. Great work.

Interesting composition, Feyza. It's all about the backdrop of course, and the contrast between illusion and reality. I like the sense of movement provided by the blurred cyclist, as an additional contrast. Well seen.

Lovely portrait shot of this charming girl. As you pointed out, there's a certain grace in her bearing. You made the most of the good light, and it helps to soften her features.
Your photo reminds me how much I miss these friendly people and their special country, where I lived for three happy years.

Wow, this is a lovely shot, Angshuman. I was also in leh last month, but did not quite have this impressive vantage point of Shanti stupa. You made the most of the dramatic shadows on the day. An excellent composition.

His threatening expression, and the gesture with the knife definitely add an element of interest and even danger to your shot. It wouldn't have been as interesting if it was just a photo of a fishmonger at work. Under the circumstances, you did well to capture such a sharp image (even though the fish are a bit out of focus :) Well done!

The light is great here and makes the barrier look like something out of a sci-fi movie. Moody and somewhat mysterious, with the panels reminding one of shimmering scales. An interesting composition, well done.

Hi Daniel, there's beautiful architectural detail in this shot. Great colours, lines and textures. This type of photo is often difficult to pull off, but you have managed to capture some of the atmosphere of this part of Valletta.

Hi Ana, I like this pleasing, simple composition because of the contrast in textures and colours. The wall itself is lovely enough to be the focus of your image, but the pop-art bench then adds another interesting dimension to the photo.

This is a lovely image, Agoes. While it's a fairly common subject, this composition stands out for me because of the blurred and slightly moody reflection. the soft pastel (sunrise?) colours also add to the mood of the photo. Great work.
