The spiritual morning mist at Assi ghat is very well taken Angshu da.. I Like morning light falling on the old building. You have nicely composed the shot by placing boat at right place. I also love to see one shot in which boat is focussed and structure on background is slightly out of focus...

I wonder how I missed to see this world class shot of your's..... A perfect shot from all corner... but Subir has some valid point here... Even I visualize this shot having more space at lower side of ship...

One thing is common between you and me... your sister and my best friend ISA also helped me a lot in learning basics of Photography... Hats off to my dearest friend ISA....

Γειά σου Γιώργο, όμορφο το καδράρισμα. Η επιλογή της κάθετης αποτύπωσης ενισχύεται από τα κυπαρίσια, τον βράχο αριστερά και το δέντρο δεξιά που υψώνεται μαζί με όλη τη φωτογραφία. Οι αυστηροί χρωματισμού του κτιρίου και ο μολυβένιος ουρανός δημιουργούν εξαιρετική αντίθεση με τις φθινοπωρινές αποχρώσεις των δέντρων, ενώ πολλές και ενδιαφέρουσες είναι οι διαβαθμίσεις του πρασίνου.
Υπάρχει λίγο περισσότερο "αύρα" από όσο θα έπρεπε στον ουρανό στο επάνω αριστερά μέρος της φωτογραφίας, αλλά αυτή είναι λεπτομέρεια μπροστά στη συνολική εξαιρετική εικόνα.

Thats an excellent image, good silhouettes and the mist is superb. Needless to say that black and white was the right choice. Lost all my b&w film I took in Kyrgystan still gutted lost it in the post so digital does look a good choice at the moment
