Hello Recep, Good to see a B&W photo - particularly one as lively as this. Well-chosen light conditions and POV. Best wishes..........Maggie

Hello Malgorzata, I loved Lake Ohrid when I stayed there in 1991 and I recognised this view immediately. The line of visitors leads our eye down to the building very neatly. The angle of the sunn looks as if it could have been a problem, but there is no glare, not even on the bright waters of the lake. Thank you for reminding me of this fascinating area.In 1991 the terracing had not been built - as you will see from the workshop posting. Best wishes...........Maggie

Hello Silvio, High viewpoints suit theses wonderful Italian towns so well. Extra interest is added in your photo by the brightly lit walkway leading through the shadowy areas on both sides. The lovely soft colours are very pleasing. Best wishes...........Maggie

Hello Jimmy, I like the way the use of a single colour emphasises the textures and shapes of the 3 elements of heron, water and grasses in this picture. Very effective. Best wishes.............Maggie

Hello Stephen, The patterned walls are a crazy, but brilliant, treatment of this building -but not sure I would want to live opposite it! The colours are wonderful and your simple treatment, letting the subject fill the frame, is certainly the right one. Best wishes.............Maggie

Hello Kasia, As a portrait this works very well indeed, beautifully lit, clear and colorful and with a striking diagonal composition. But there is so much more to it when we read your note and learn what exists just beyond the edges of the image. Best wishes......Maggie

Hello Chris, this photo has beautiful light and clarity - and successfully shows the scale of the urn. I agree that the figures were necessary to the interest of the scene. The size and bold shape of the urn manages to hold its own against the bright clothing of the two visitors. Best wishes.........Maggie
