Photographer's Note

Typical alley in the village of Pido ... Pido is a small village situated between Serra do Aor and Serra da Estrela, Portugal. This is typical because it is perhaps unique in the country that uses only the slate as a construction material in the houses.

Difficult to access, is a place that must be visited. In a small street trading can be bought some artifacts in the region, like miniature houses on slate, confectionery and liqueurs.

P.S. The Pido belongs to Arganil, which in turn belongs to Coimbra. I had given incorrect information, so my apology ...
