Photographer's Note

The late afternoon weather was not too kind though and this was one of those rare moments and a very much an opportunistic shot and something to cheer up when suddenly the sun made a very brief appearance when this rainbow appeared across the mighty Mekong River. Unfortunately it was too close to get a full frame but counted myself very lucky to have caught this.

It was one of the most vivid rainbow I have ever seen however, the beautiful play of nature did not last very long when it disappeared within minutes later. I guess sometimes you're in the right place at the right time. You've got to admit it, that Mother Nature knows what she's doing......

Shooting Location:
Chroy Changvar slum colony, on a bank of Bassac river just outside Phnom Penh city centre.
