Photographer's Note

Canada Place, a pink steel and glass complex, serves as the centre for Federal Government activity in Edmonton and much of Western Canada. It comprises two office towers, a third could be added later, consisting of 15 and 13 storeys joined together by an atrium. It is located on the north side of Jasper Avenue (9700), with the Alberta Hotel to the west, and across from the Shaw Conference Centre to the south. Construction was effected from November of 1985 to the summer of 1988. For those in need, there is a food court below ground; there is also a connection via the Pedway to the Citadel Theatre and Shaw Conference Centre.
