Photographer's Note

I've never shown this part of Vancouver before, so I guess its about time.

This is the very popular Granville Island. Its not only a huge travel/tourist hub, its one of the THE most popular places for us locals as well.

Granville Island has so much to offer, shopping, theatres, live broadway-type shows, arts n crafts, charming hotels, comedy clubs, restaurants, Native Indian Art, and the food at the market is fantastic.
It's also famous for its Art Schools. You can take Photography here at Emily Carr and become a Professional photographer in one year. I looked into it myself, but it costs $35,000. There is a large Video/Film School here as well, along with Acting School. As I said, Granville Island has a lot to offer, mainly focusing on the ARTS.

What you're looking at here is the bridge leading to Granville Island from the mainland of Vancouver. The yellow building is a Kids fun zone play area.

When you come to Vancouver, make sure you check out Granville Island. It also has amazing views of downtown Vancouver and its many bridges and water ways.
