Photographer's Note

Another capture I'd made a few days ago in one of the most traditionalist districts of İstanbul, in Fatih.
This family is either from Syria or from Saudi Arabia.
Even this little girl has to carry a headscarf, the women in their traditional black veils.

Fatih is the place where I was born in 1942 and spent all my childhood. But it was quite different on those days from today. It was quite seldom to see such scenes.
Like all over the İslamic world also here in Fatih the time seems to be stopped. Unfortunately.
