Photographer's Note

Hali (Golden Horn) Station of the M2 subway line is at an interesting location: It is midway on the Golden Horn Metro Bridge. It is located right over the Golden Horn, half way between Fatih (on the southern shore) and Beyoğlu (on the northern shore) districts of Istanbul. The station is accessible from both sides of the Golden Horn via pedestrian walkways adjacent to the bridge.

I got off at Hali Station with the idea of returning to the southern shore of the Golden Horn and walking to Eminn, from where I would take the ferry to Emirgan. The repeating patterns of the bulwarks of the station and its industrial look invited me stop and take a snapshot. Here, we are looking north towards Beyoğlu district.

Hali İstasyonu

M2 metro hattının Hali (Altın Boynuz) İstasyonu ilgin bir noktadadır: Hali Metro Kprs'nn ortasındadır. Hali'in tam zerinde, Fatih (gney sahilinde) ve Beyoğlu (kuzey sahilinde) ilelerinin tam arasında yer almaktadır. İstasyona, kprnn bitişiğinde yaya yryş yolları ile Hali'in her iki tarafından erişilebilir.

Gney sahiline dnerek Emirgana giden feribota bineceğim Eminn'ne doğru yrme fikrimi ile Hali İstasyonunda indim. İstasyonun kpestelerinin tekrarlanan şekilleri ve endstriyel grnş beni durdurup bir fotoğraf ekmeye davet etti. Burada kuzeye, Beyoğlu ilesine doğru bakıyoruz.
