Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Before I close my theme of Ripley village, I would like to share these two photographs from my archive.

Whereas my previous photographs were taken on a wet autumn morning, these were taken in spring.

There was a festival taking place in Ripley, so the streets had been decorated with bunting and there were various activities taking place in the public buildings.

I chose this photograph as the main because I thought it was a slightly better exposure even though the workshop contains figures.

Of course, I'm sure you will all recognise the beds of daffodils. England's countryside is painted yellow with them at this time of year.

Enjoy your day, Bev :-)
