Photographer's Note

This picture was taken in the English Lake District in Autumn. The view is close to a peak called Dale Head. We had walked to here from the Slate Mine at Honister Pass. The walk is along a ridge that followed the edge of Buttermere Lake. This gap and the path shows another approach from the north from the town of Keswick. The wind was so strong that only a hand held camera could be used. The ISO was dropped down in order to get some sharpness into the picture. I think the rain was beginning to hit my lens.
