Photographer's Note
While wandering on the promenade, I met thoses girls (ladies?) with the same cloth, probably a hen party. I turned the picture in order to have them at right, so the eye remains on them. The original picture, less powerfull is given in the WS

Hi Claude
Some determined ladies!
Woe betide anyone who gets in their way. Such a colourful bunch and the red car seemed a fun coordination there. Wow, they must have had a great time, best of all is those lovely shoes but the blond has more fun, Claude. Well seen, you go girls! do it while you can! That must have been a quick lens change.
Good fun reportage - I prefer this than the other.. Cheers!
Best regards

Bonjour Claude,
Comme il y a beaucoup de rouge dans cette photo, je me suis dit que cela devait être Clodo.Agréable de constater que les jupes se portent à des longueurs différentes. Beau raccord avec la voiture rouge.
Amicalement

Hello Claude, I agree with you that this one seems to work better as a composition, the only drawback are all the letters/writing are reversed!
I wonder if they had Scottish ancestry?
Nice coincidence that the passing car was red too.
Thanks for sharing, regards Jean.

Hello Claude, I looked in Google what is hen party. I si also called bachelorette party. In Polish something like bridesmaids evening. Whatever the name, it is amusing view of these ladies, the friends of the bride all clad in the same way. it is strange that just turning the picture changed the impact. funny to see the reversed signs. The red car was in good place. You were lucky!

Hi Claude,
You have given us a wonderful photograph to admire here! And a difficult choice between your "reversed" main picture and your "normal" workshop image.
Yes, your main photograph does indeed seem to have more impact but I'm not sure if that is because the main subjects (the ladies in tartan dress) are on the right of the picture or because the reversed letters and numbers on the posters and the cars confuse the eye and make one wonder if part of the image is, in fact, a reflection from some huge window!
In any case, this is a brilliant photograph with fabulous rich colours (mainly reds!), a fine composition and excellent details and sharpness. Well composed too and a perfect example of your fine candid street photography. Henri would be proud!
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Claude!
I appreciate the fact that the terminus Technicus "hen party" is still in use in English speaking areas. The necessity to use it is obvious, even with left and right exchanged.

Hi Claude
I prefer this main one, its less obstructed.
how long did you have to wait for a red car to pass you by?
hahaha
this is great though, too bad only 1 of the women are wearing red shoes! :)
cool street shot, you took full advantage
cheers
