Photographer's Note

Cesky Krumlov is an amazing medieval city a couple of hours south of Prague. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site; it was founded in the 1200s and doesn't appear to have changed much over the past few hundred years. It is dominated by a castle on the hill at the edge of town, while the city itself is naturally guarded on three sides by a horseshoe curve in the Vltava River.

The background building on the hill is part of the castle, with its tower; the foreground is some of the buildings in town.
