Photographer's Note

The Church of St. Jacob the Elder in the center of Brno was built at the beginning of the 13th century for the needs of mainly German and Flanders colonists. The church of today's appearance was built at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries in late Gothic style. A 92 meter high tower was completed in 1592. The length of the church is 64 meters, width 22 meters and height 21 meters. Regularization of the church took place between 1871 and 1879.

Kostel svatho Jakuba Starho v centru Brna byl postaven počtkem 13.stolet pro potřeby hlavně německch a flanderskch kolonistů. Kostel dnen podoby byl postaven na přelomu 14. a 15. stolet v pozdně gotickm slohu. Vě vysok 92 metrů byla dokončena a v roce 1592. Dlka kostela je 64 metrů, řka 22 metrů a vka 21 metrů. Regotizace kostela proběhla v letech 1871 - 1879.
