Photographer's Note

I created this image early one morning climbing up an isolated sand dune in the vast expanse of Erg Chebbi which is part of Moroccos Sahara Desert.

Erg Chebbi dunes are famous for their great height and size; they can rise up to one hundred fifty meters high in some places, are twenty-two kilometers long, and five kilometers wide. The wind constantly changes the environment and its a beautiful area.
