Great mekong 2009-02-28 2:04

Hi Paul,
Nice composition of Mt. Fuji picture altought I'd cut part of the sky. But maybe you should consider to use some filters with your camera. A polarizer filter would have eliminated most part of the blur.
What's your opinion about the Nikon D80? I'm planning to buy it with the same zoom 18-200 you're using.
Greets,
Xavier

Default To mekong: D80

I love my D80 and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. My friend has the D40 and a D40x, but I really like the shortcuts and the screen on top of the camera on the D80. It lets me change my setting so much faster than my friend which has really come in handy.

Though there is a D90 now that has a couple of new features I wouldn't mind (like sensor cleaning). I also really like my 18-200. Having that kind of range is really nice, especially when traveling. I find that it does struggle a little bit in lower light or with moving objects, but that might just be my photography skill.

Thanks for the recommendation on a polarizer. I've been meaning to get one. It's helpful to know when to use it.
